In the heady atmosphere of the late 1960s, The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour presented biting political satire with breezy intelligence and catchy, disarming folk tunes. However, their progressive brand of comedy--co-written by Steve Martin and Rob Reiner--drew the ire of CBS, who fired Tom and Dick Smothers. But the censorship fight wasn't over; the brothers fought back. The makers of this documentary interviewed Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, former CBS execs and others to chronicle the landmark court battle.
