The Central Coast Writer's Club host their annual East of Eden Writing Conference, hosting 12 literary agents, 4 publishers, several keynote speakers and 25 workshops on the art of writing. Speakers include Jane Smiley, Karen Joy Fowler, and Brian Copeland, among others. Participants are invited to attend, one, two, or all three days, and to enjoy optional events specified to give writers a better understanding of Steinbeck's land and inspiration.
