The comic chops are impressive. The former wisecracking waitress from Pasadena just appeared at The Improv in Tahoe and the Laff House in Philly. She's earned a national standup tour called “Thea Vidale, Down & Dirty,” her own (albeit short-lived) sitcom (Thea) and spots on Ellen, The Drew Carey Show and Ugly Betty. But we don't want a resume. We want a joke. "Yeah, I started my period, yippee," she says. "If I coulda killed three or four men right there I'd a felt a lot better about myself. I am so sick of TV acting like being on a period is some romantic voyage. Ain't no [woman] riding a horse on her period. Ain't no [woman] swimming in the Caribbean while on her period.
