This is not the pink or rainbow PRIDE event; that was last month. This PRIDE event is about green--scratch, paper, cheddar, dollars. Specifically, it turns what is otherwise a scenic (breathtaking even, depending on the weather) stroll on the Rec Trail, from Berwick Park to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and back, and spins money out of each step. Students, parents, teachers and community folk raise money for P.G. Unified School District field trips, science camp, band and other stuff.
