Hailing from L.A. (and looking like it), Monte Negro do a radio-friendly version of Rock n' Espanol that ranges from evocative ballads to bouncy reggae, English to Spanish lyrics, indie rock to glamor pop. Salinas' Mortero de Piedra bring energy and fun with driving rhythm guitar, busy percussion and passionate singing. Corazon Atomico are also from Salinas, and they come with a jump-off energy that should kick-start this show in the ass. These tres bandas come together in this 21+ show to raise money for Everyday Latina Scholarships. [WR]
