The Actors Collective presents Boston Marriage by the ever-scabrous playwright David Mamet, of Glengarry Glen Ross fame. It’s about two early 20th-century women who are involved in a "Boston marriage," that may or may not involve physical intimacy. Like all of Mamet’s work, it’s about the emotional damage we do to each other. At it’s London debut, one critic said: “The plot is less important than the expression of the sexual desires and material needs of these women. The effect is sometimes shocking, but more often, blisteringly witty." The whole, just 90 minutes, is delivered at a galloping pace until April 11. Tickets available at the door or at the Yoga Sanctuary, 170 Central Ave., Pacific Grove. [PW]
