William Carlos Williams said, " My heart rouses to bring you news that concerns you and concerns many men. You will not find it there but in despised poems. It is difficult to get the news from poems yet men die miserably every day for lack of what is found there." Prize-winning poet and teacher Barbara Mossberg takes us on a journey through words. Her objective is to get to the bottom of what is in a "despised" poem that we can't live without. She is going over poems on nature, love, loss, and the great span of time. Mossberg has a long list of honours, and can be heard on KRXA 540AM Sundays at noon.
