It’s been a long road from her early days in Greenwhich Village, she gravitated to the burgeoning folk scne, ultimately hooking up as lead singer for the Jim Kweskin Jug Band, with memorable renditions of “Chevrolet’’ and “I’m A Woman.’’ Time passed, but Maria’s career has continued – she will be playing Monterey to promote her new album, Yes We Can!
