Over the past few years, folk music has once again become a vital music form due to the popularity of indie artists including Devendra Banhart and Joanna Newsom. A quartet from Southern California, The Folk Collection will school newcomers to the genre by revisiting the works of earlier folk acts The Kingston Trio, Bob Dylan and Peter, Paul and Mary. The acoustic group pours three part harmonies over acoustic classics "This Land Is Your Land" and "Blowin' in the Wind." [ST]
