The Seaside Police Activities League (PAL) continues to lower the crime rate by providing athletic, recreational, and educational opportunities for at-risk youth in the community. By reinforcing responsible values and respect, teenagers and children of Seaside develop a personal relationship with the police department that allows them to be held accountable by positive role models. PAL hosts their 2nd annual Spring Fling at the Oldemeyer Center featuring Monterey’s up-tempo blues jam band, Red Beans and Rice.
