This eighth annual celebration of children and families will feature special presentations, activities and Latin American musical performances throughout the aquarium. The new Andres Alcala Jr. Scholarship will be awarded in honor of the late aquarium employee who was killed by gang members in a case of mistaken identity. The event will also include mariachi and traditional dancers. El Teatro Campesino will act out their "Watt a Waste" skit. Bilingual feeding shows are available, including sea otters at 1:30pm and 3:30pm, penguins at 3pm, and the creatures of the kelp forest at 4pm. [JF]
