Carmel Art Association presents a number of shows from Aug. 6-Sept. 1 sure to keep attendees artistically stimulated for the rest of the summer. First Carol Parker presents her exhibit “In the Fields” featuring recent oils and watercolors of field workers, farmlands and vineyards. The show takes place in the Center Room and a portion of the show’s proceeds will benefit Ag Against Hunger. In the Beardsley Room’s south wall, “Local Figures” exhibits paintings created by Gerard Martin and Christine Crozier. The Gallery Showcase features the abstract oil/collage works of Heidi Hybl and the landscapes of Jan Wagstaff. [MS]
