Veteran Central Coast theater director Conrad Selvig is helming "The 60s'', a comedic look at yesterday's flower children getting ready to enjoy their golden years. Written by Trish Soodik, the play, which premiered in 2006 in Venice, California, depicts Norman and Grace (Will and Sandy Shephard), who were married over 30 years ago but are now divorced. Grace has left her counterculture past for a job as a neighborhood pharmacist while Norman lives alone and chases younger women. Complications, and clashes, ensue. [PW]
