This summer, Folk Yeah Presents have brought indie rock legends Stephen Malkmus and Black Francis of the Pixies to the outdoor stage at the Henry Miller Library. Now, the local promoter is bringing a new wave of nine up and coming acts oozing with potential. This 11-hour show features Swedish hard psych rock from Dungen, experimental electronic music from New York City's Gang Gang Dance, '70s style hippie rock courtesy of Brooklyn's VietNam and folk and rock that sounds like it was beamed in from outer space from Philadelphia's wonderful Kurt Vile among others.
