Dialogue. Music. Sound. These three main components are captured by Norman Corwin, one of the masterminds of radio drama in The Plot to Overthrow Christmas originally broadcast in 1938. Corwin, at the ripe age of 99, greatly contributed to the Golden Age of Radio receiving high praise for his post World War II epitaph On a Note of Triumph. In this audio storytelling by Play it By Ear Productions, Nero concocts a devious plan to get rid of Santa Claus and the drama ensues when Santa retaliates. Be sure to reserve a spot to this one time show. [MH]
