Discover the cowboy way of life, part of California's heritage, through poetry, music and the opportunity to lay hands on lots of outback-style gear. Saddle up to the Christmas Western Art & Gear Show and Sale starting 6pm Friday and 10am Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy Saturday's silent auction from 12pm-6:45pm while cruising to one of the seven shows playing all weekend that blend musicians and poets, like local favorites Sons of the San Joaquin in the Riding Free Rein show, hosted by Canadian cowgirl Doris Daley and featuring Belinda Gail and Curly Musgrave, as well as Don Edwards (see website for full schedule).
