Photographer Bert Ihlenfeld was born in Berlin but works and lives in Pacific Grove and has been serving on the Advisory Board of the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel since 1994. He specializes in transforming ordinary subjects into extraordinary images. Potential collectors and the viewing public can visit Bert's photographic metal exhibition, called Metalmorphosis, at the UUC Feb. 4 through March 8. (He's been run off by police, he says, in his roving search for his unique, rusted metal subjects.)
