Baby sitting provides good money for teens and young adults looking for some spare cash, but every baby sitter should be prepared with handy baby sitting knowledge. The City of Seaside sponsors a Baby-Sitting class for the youth offering lessons in entertaining children, caring, discipline, organization and professionalism giving each trainee the confidence to watch over kids. Also, a separate CPR class, provided by City of Seaside, trains the youth to perform CPR correctly on infants, kids and adults giving certificates to passing students valid for two years. An age requirement of 10 years and up is allowed for both classes plus additional fees for class materials.
