To celebrate their 25th anniversary, the Monterey Bay Aquarium has been waiving the ticket price for county residents with ID and proof of residence (up to three children admitted free with each adult resident) on the 20th of each month, from January to October. It's been such a hit, that they've extended it another month to include November. Jump on this opportunity to get reacquainted with the penguins, tuna, jellyfish, otters and sea horses. [WR]
