Dick Gregory is a comedian, lecturer, writer, entrepreneur, nutrition guru, political commentator and, most notably, a civil rights activist. The traveling firebrand is the keynote speaker for this evening's awards banquet organized and hosted by the Monterey County branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People to celebrate a century of struggle and conquest.
