The imitation was ugly, ill-advised and, ultimately, injurious. But such is the power of good tango: It inspired two neophytes from the crowd to dance into the night, spinning on uneven cobblestones, trying to keep the magic going but only going down—hard—in the Buenos Aires streets instead. Fortunately the cracked heads couldn't shake the moving visions of precise feet, athletic leg snaps and dizzying spins. Look for Tango First Century to bring a show worthy of a "Do not attempt at home (or anywhere)" warning too. [MCA]
