Zany good rock n' roll music is one way to describe futurist band Hans Condor--strangely, from Nashville. They bring their electrifying beats and fuzzy sounds to California head bangers, with Charles Kaster showing no mercy on his rock guitar solos and loathing vocals, bassist Erik Holkombe quaking the ground when he hits the low G note, and Eric Elsner warding off condor predators with his swift, pounding drumming. Weaving in musical influences from Guns n' Roses, Black Sabbath, Jimmy Hendrix and Thin Lizzy, the band spreads the message of rock n' roll freedom. [SL]
