The PGAC orders a whole new round of art and artists for their new exhibits running until Feb. 12. Two Sisters shows a lifetime's worth of dedication to art by sisters Pat Carey and V. Conroy, both raised in Monterey and Carmel. Pressing On offers a sampling of printmaking from the MPC Fine Art Print Club, including woodcuts and etchings. Portfolios One teams up self-taught local photographers Brett M. Thomas and Roger Aguirre Smith, both part of the fine art photography group ImageMakers. In The Basin Complex Fire Up Close and Personal, Wareen Poitras aims his camera lens at the drama and action of the recent fires. Tonight's opening reception, scored by piano player Stan Crossley, unveils the full menu of new work. [WR]
