Deep Sea Public Lectures at P.G. Museum of Natural History

The multi-part Sea Creatures Rediscovered Lecture Series: An In Depth Look at Ocean Exploration is back-dropped by Jason Bradley's luminescent photographs of deep-sea life, and aimed squarely for a general (non-scientific) audience. The final and fascinating lecture is by Stephanie Bush of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, who talks on "Hunting and Hiding with the Lights Out: Predator Prey Interaction in the Deep Sea." These otherwordly battles for life take place right in our little piece of the Pacific.
2pm. Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, 165 Forest Ave., Pacific Grove. Free. 648-5718, lmannel@ci.pg.ca.us. http://www.pgmusuem.org.
