One of the more eclectic nights of entertainment to float across my desk recently, Jose's is presenting a naughty hypnosis party featuring local hypnotist Mezmeron, a set of crude folk music by one man act Foul Folk and a headlining set of spacey jams from Santa Cruz's Byron Space Circus in one single evening. Byron Space Circus employ a violin, a synthesizer and a mandolin to create funky, dance ready songs with an otherworldly sheen. The four piece has shared the stage with jam band funk group Karl Denson's Tiny Universe. [ST]
