Volunteers throughout Monterey County carry out a county census (part of the nation wide census) to help draw a picture of the homeless problem in America. Monterey County Coalition of Homeless Service Providers volunteers will be matched with a guide familiar with homeless locations. All volunteers must attend one two-hour training sessions: Jan. 20 at Greenfield Community Center, Greenfield; Jan. 21 at SeaRina Community Resource Center, Seaside; Jan. 22 at Salinas City Hall West Wing Conference Room, Salinas. The census count is Jan. 28.
