Fans of the jazz funk Hammond organ based sounds of groups including Medeski Martin & Wood and Soulive are heavily advised to check out the Santa Cruz trio 7 Come 11. The band includes the drummer and Hammond organ player from the world music outfit Universal Language, and their "SWP" includes plenty of streaming guitar solos and stabbing organ. They also do a clever version of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song," where the Hammond organ takes the place of Robert Plant's vocals. [ST]
