In collaboration with the Mother Hips, Britt Govea of Folk Yeah Presents has put together a two-day festival with an eclectic lineup of music in the always-inspiring Big Sur setting. The Mother Hips, who are playing both days, have been an indie-rock favorite for 20 years gathering their inspiration from the likes of The Beach Boys and Buffalo Springfield. Some of the other festival standouts include: indie-folk guru Little Wings, Oregon-based ’60s rockers The Parson Redheads and Everest, who recently toured with Neil Young. [AJ]
