This is the last weekend of this show. When it comes to exhibitions, the nonprofit art venue sure pours on a wealth of art. Their latest rolls out their annual "Tiny Treasures" Miniatures Show, a popular fundraiser made up of tiny donated works of art for which attendees bid by placing raffle tickets into a corresponding box for a surprise drawing 7pm, July 8 (hint: more tickets increases the odds of winning the work). The Monterey Peninsula Art Foundation puts on a member group show called Lost in a Painting; physicist, fencer and cool chick Princess Simpson Rashid shows her stuff in a solo show called The White Space; Frederick G. Pomeroy applies his influences of Renoir, Matisse and Bonnard to the Monterey Peninsula landscape. The works stay up until July 9. [WR]
Noon-5pm Wed-Sat; 1-4pm Sun. Pacific Grove Art Center, 568 Lighthouse Ave., Pacific Grove. Free to attend; $3/raffle ticket; $25/10 raffle tickets. 375-2208. http://www.pgartcenter.org.
