The Pastors for Peace Friendship Caravan brings volunteers to Monterey in an effort to challenge the U.S. embargo and travel restrictions against Cuba. This caravan is one of 14 travelling across 47 states and six Canadian provinces collecting construction tools, medicine, and educational and medical supplies to take to Cuba. The Peace Resource Center hosts a send off for the caravan with food and music, as well as the chance to meet caravanistas and hear their testimonies.
