If you're looking for a weekend of smooth vocals and some damn right good jazz, you need to be at Julie Kelly's show. David Morwood will be on drums on Thursday and Marshall Otwell, who's played with other great jazz vocalists like Carmen McRae, with be on piano Friday and Saturday. Julie Kelly, who's committed a huge part of her life to jazz, has worked with artists like Benny Green, Nat Adderly and Ray Brown. The singer makes known through her gently relaxing, old school rocking jazz vocals and smooth rhythms on guitar that her music means something great.
