The Old Monterey Business Association invites artists to apply for their coming Plein Air Art Festival August 15-16, which takes over downtown Monterey for two days devoted to the outdoor painting tradition Monterey is famous for. Work in the categories of best historic building, garden/landscape, streetscape, storefront, wharf scene, harbor scene, and best in show is being accepted until Aug. 1, for which cash prizes are awarded.
