Brady's Shorts at Carl Cherry Center

Longtime local writer/teacher Lee Brady has a reason to be excited. She says of her upcoming work, "Brady's Shorts," that "Lovin' is hard but laughin' comes easy in these short comedies as misguided lovers fight for their just desserts...and end up with pie on their face." The area's best local actors are featured in an evening of charming and unique comedy. Trojans Charlie and Mel wage another war for the beauteous Helen, Grace falls from grace, Robin and Jack find the road to discovery is full of potholes, Sandy travels over dangerous waters as she commutes to work on a ferry and even Will Shakespeare and his Ann come out for a round in this cosmic battle of Mars and Venus, where no human is immune from Cupid's wicked arrow. These are some shorts that anyone will love getting into. The show runs weekends throughout June. [BP]
