This 1940s musical revue revisits the music and dance of a rousing era in American music and history, when the nation was united over World War II, Jackie Robinson was changing the great American pastime, the USO was created and swing was king. In the Mood features the String of Pearls big band orchestra pumping out defining hit songs from Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Erskin Hawkins and Frank Sinatra, accompanied by the In the Mood Singers and Dancers in period costumes, The national touring group rolls out music, theater, history and dance for two shows on this leg of their national tour.
