Monterey Symphony Concert at Sherwood Hall

The Symphony welcomes child prodigy turned adult master Asier Polo to the stage for a rousing performance of Dvorak’s lengthy yet memorable Cello Concerto. Returning to work with conductor Max Bragado-Darman for the first time since his 2004 Monterey debut, this performance is the 8th presentation of Dvork’s work in over 60 years. Polo is renouned in his native Spain and has toured all over Europe, Latin America, and Israel. Performances also include Tchaikovsky Sixth Symphony. (It moves to the Sunset Center Sunday and Monday). QE
