This show, back for its seventh season, uses smart, economical production to feature innovative Bay Area artists (some of whom make their way to Monterey), their art, and their process of making their art. The episode airing 7:30pm Wednesday, March 18, looks at legendary Pop Art painter Wayne Thiebaud, singer/pianist Vienna Teng and choreographer Janice Garrett (it is replayed 1:30am Thu, 11:30pm Fri, 5:30am Sat--all original episodes repeat that encore schedule). Future episodes focus on dancer/choreographer Isadora Duncan, Mary Sano, artist/musician Ron Nagle and puppeteer Sandow Birk (7:30pm Wed, March 25); and photographer Katherine Westerhout, comedian W. Kamau Bell and B3 organ player Wil Blades (7:30pm Wed, April 1).
