Okay, it doesn't cover Monterey County, but until we get our own amateur discussion group on local dining experiences that's broadcast on public television, this James Beard-winning show will do. Besides, you can't just go to Tommy's Joynt every time you visit San Francisco...can you? Check, Please! Bay Area airs 8:30pm Fridays, with repeat episodes 9am and 1pm Saturdays, 5:30pm Sundays, and 7:30pm Thursdays.
