The Artsong Youth Arts Festival showcases young artists aged 12-20 to showcase and celebrate their creativity in dance, spoken word, music, photography, drama, 2D and 3D art. Galleries and venues display the work over the course of March 15-April 15 at venues including Hartnell College Art Gallery (starting March 23), the Artsong Festival in Oldtown Salinas (March 28) and 15 other downtown venues. The festival is the big shebang, with creation stations, mural painting and performances in addition to its regular constellation of creative stuff. The kids run the show here--and they do it well.
