Unforgettable, that’s what he was. Veteran vocalist Allen Harris is bringing the smooth sounds of jazz great (and underrated pianist) Nat King Cole to town with renditions of classics like “I Love You) for Sentimental Reasons’’ and “Too Young’’ of his CD, “Long Live the King.’’ Harris, whose work also includes “Cross That River,’’ an inspiring story about the black West he yearned to learn about as a child. He’s also been compared to Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra, and been called “a supremely relaxed and tasteful crooner in the Nat King Cole tradition’’ by the New York Times. Mr. Cole would be proud.
