The Junior League of Monterey County Hosts their annual crab feed funderaiser. Sail into a pirate-themed all-you-can-eat Dunguness crab feast, accompanied by clam chowder, salad and garlic bread. Local chards, cabs, merlots and syrahs from Lockwood, Scheid, Paraiso and others will be poured (for separate purchase) and a dessert auction will take place following the meal. A just-as-sweet silent auction will take place during the fundraiser for spas, dinners and spas (premium prizes are a two-night stay at Meadwood in Napa, San Diego Chargers VIP tickets) and raffle tickets will be sold at the event. A table for 12 is $550 and a special VIPirate table for 12 is $800 and includes five bottles of wine, butter warmers and exclusive bar service. Call for details. [WJ]
