On May 28, 1934 in rural Ontario, Canada, five identical girls were born. Immediately worldwide frenzy ensued the girls. Memorabilia and endorsements were quick to follow the Dionne girls. The Ontario government took custody of the girls, and made a lucrative wad of cash from the stampeding tourists. They spent the first nine years of their lives at Quintland, behind a one-way screen. Annette and Cecile are the remaining quints alive today. This exhibit is of Depression-era memorabilia collected by local artist Snick Farkas, and can be seen the entire month of May. [JL]
