A Los Angeles singer/songwriter traveling up to Carmel Valley for an outdoor Saturday night performance? It could only be Kiki Wow's Music Under the Stars Acoustic Concert Series. This round finds Ric Taylor sitting on Plaza Linda's patio courtyard and playing songs like his epic, Neil Young-ish "Mother of All Poisons." Also, Taylor does a wonderfully venomous song titled "Welcome to LA," where he practically hisses lines including: "It destitutes the best of us/ Come down here with the rest of us." [ST]
