If the indominatble thistle doesn't whet your whistle, whether fried, stuffed or otherwise amplified, try these nibbles on for size: two days of live music—including Los Lobos, TYT, Second Wind and Average White Band; 3-D fruit and vegetable artwork; a full-blown parade designed to salute the Marilyn Monroe-fabled vegetable in style; a classic car show; children's games and rare craft activities; cooking demos from the vicinity's most veteran 'choke chefs; wine tastings, farmers markets and field tours.
