Two of Monterey’s best known guitar slangers Mike Beck and Tom Ayres unite tonight for an intimate folk rock set. Beck, a bearded horseman who now song writes from Montana, routinely returns to the coast to lead The Bohemian Saints. The seasoned band features guitar virtuoso Ayres, Marty Lydon on bass and Paul Montgomery on drums. KPIG listeners will recognize Beck's classic numbers, which are influenced by the Byrds, the Rolling Stones and a bit of rawhide. [ZS]
