The Monterey Bay Poetry Consortium presents John Dotson and David Swanger as part of their monthly reading series. Dotson’s time as the first poet-in-residence at the Robinson Jeffers Tor House Foundation inspired one of his books, “The Enduring Voice, a Tor House Journal” for the centennial of Jeffers’ birth. He has two other published books of poetry and a memoir in the works. Swanger’s work was read by Garrison Keillor on NPR’s “The Writer’s Almanac” and currently has four books of poetry published as well as one about poetry. Both seasoned poets will be reading excerpts of their work while guests enjoy food, beer and wine available to purchase. [AS]
