Get ready for some heavy, gritty, poetic heat. West Coast writers Lorna Dee Cervantes, Elliot Roberts and Matthew Shenoda tell political and personal tales from women cannery workers to war-torn homelands. These writers along with several CSU Monterey Bay graduates spit hot fire as part of a celebration of new book Fire and Ink: An Anthology of Social Action Writing, (see story pg. XX) which was edited by CSUMB professors Diana Garcia, Debra Busman and Frances Payne Adler. [ZS]
