A remembrance gathering on Cannery Row for the restaurateur who loved the art of dancing and gave many their first big break. It's comprised of a mix of entertainment and remembrance, with memorabilia and slideshow of her life. Performers include spoken word, folk musicians and, of course, bellydancers to honor the "Queen of Cannery Row" with what she loved best. Donations will be accepted to finish a bronze memorial currently being created by Jesse Corsaut, slated for installation on Cannery Row.
