Yoursie Thomas’ life reads like a modern day tragedy, but he’s worked past the pain of a an addict mother and a hard New Jersey upbringing to forge a comedy career that is glittered with big names and high profile gigs. He leaves nothing off the table (check out his “Family Issues” bit on youtube and you’ll see what I mean). Thomas does voices, sings, expounds on the virtues of marijuana and, oh yeah, makes you laugh. Local funnyman LG Brown jumps on stage before Thomas for two nights of comic gold that’s not for those without a funny bone. [MF]
