All who wonder about the many jobs Mark Twain held or his bad head for business should get the scoop from the man himself. Stop by and sip on the Works' organic coffee and tea, and hear the stories of Mississippi and New Orleans as Thomas plays one of America's favorite writers reminiscing as an old man, recalling his days living near the river and earning his license to pilot a steamboat in the 1850s between St. Louis and New Orleans.
7:30-9:30pm. The Works, 667 Lighthouse Ave., Pacific Grove. $10/person. 372-2242. http://theworkspg.com/.
