Feathered Friends At The Aquarium

This Thanksgiving is for the birds. The aquarium has a fun filled weekend of shows and activities with our feathered friends this holiday that features blackfooted penguins who will strut their stuff down a red carpet, Makan, a Laysan albatross, and local shorebirds from the Aquariums aviary. Wildlife Associates will present a horned owl, the falcon species kestrel bird, a Harris hawk, turkey vultures and will let you know the secret on how they care for these high flying hunters. Participate up close and personal by feeding these rare birds, have your questions answered by penguinologists and create a keepsake in the Family craft room. [KP]
